A disappointing battle for Ferrari

In his debut season with Ferrari, Sainz expected a grand weekend in Monza. However, he also realized that the possibility of the home win was nil. “We were always there, very close to the opportunity, but we never quite had the pace and the tools, to be honest, to get in the fight. We have certain weaknesses with the car that we know, with this circuit, are too big.”

The problems with the Ferrari car slipped out at Monza. After their rivals at McLaren had a triumphant weekend, the mid-field battle is open again. Additionally, McLaren has reclaimed their P3 position, pushing Ferrari to fourth.
