The 2022 season for Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen has been a contrasting one. The Dutch Lion dominated the entire grid for most of the season. However, Sir Lewis struggled in his W13 car and is without a win this season. Now, the Red Bull driver has some advice for the 37-year-old.

Despite a poor season, Max has called Lewis to remain in the sport for “coming years”. The Dutchman also revealed that the duo have had some fantastic battles in the past and feels Mercedes will close the gap on Red Bull in the near future.

Verstappen said, “He has to do what he feels is right and as long as he wants to race, he should do it. From our side, we have had already great battles. I’m sure that in the coming years, all of the teams will get a bit closer anyway so it will be interesting to see who is up there to fight.
