If there’s anything we’ve learned from season 5 of Netflix’s Drive to Survive series, then it’s got to be that you don’t want to be on the wrong side of Guenther Steiner. The Haas boss is known to be temperamental and nasty from time to time when things don’t go the team’s way. In 2022, Mick Schumacher would often find himself on the receiving end of Steiner’s rage as he wracked up a multi-million dollar bill wrecking the car, and consistently being miles behind his teammate, Kevin Magnussen.

However, the worst of this battering was on display to the fans when the docuseries hit the screens. On many occasions, the Italian boss was seen tormenting the young German with some very harsh criticism. It got so bad that fans even termed it ‘bullying’. But the Schumacher clan isn’t one to back down without a proper fight. In the absence of his father, Michael Schumacher, Mick’s uncle Ralf has taken the responsibility of putting it to the 57-year-old team principal.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Schumacher took a jab at Steiner while seemingly promoting his latest line of cosmetic cream.

Normally retailed for a price of $30, Schumacher captioned the post with his cream on one side and Steiner’s face on the other writing, “With wrinkles and dry skin, I can only recommend Günther my new cosmetic. At least there you can still do something. Soon on the market Günther.”

Steiner has remained adamant about his stance with Schumacher. But his uncle Ralf has a few words he’d like to tell the Haas supremo.

Steiner is known to rule with an iron fist at the team. And that is in all fairness his own prerogative. But how the man treated Schumacher really hit hard when it came to the Schumacher family. But the most vocal about it has been Ralf himself.

He told Formel1.de, “I have absolutely no problem with criticism and Guenther Steiner should lead his team as he wants and thinks is right. I just have to say that I expect a grown man to treat a young man differently. I think the young man could have been motivated better.”
