The United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, is always a place that the Aussie enjoys. He has spoken publicly of his fondness for this part of the country. The McLaren driver often shows his love for the place in different ways on the F1 weekend.

In 2021, he has worn a full cowboy outfit with his unique style of beard to match it. This look has caught the attention of everyone in the paddock. The McLaren team posted the look on their social media and asked for emojis from people.

In response, Mercedes took to social media to express their thoughts on Ricciardo’s outfit. The world champions referenced the song by Lil Nas X’s song Old Town Road in their response.

“Loved his song Old Town Road.” said the Mercedes AMG team. The same outfit was worn by Lil Nas X in the song’s video.

I should have had a title by now: Daniel Ricciardo

As reported by Motorsport.com, the Aussie driver has never won the world title in the sport. He has finished P3 in the championship twice behind the dominant Mercedes in 2014 and 2016. But Ricciardo stated that he will not be bitter if he ends his career without a world title.

“There was a time where I was a little bit bitter, like, ‘I should have had a title by now, this sucks, why don’t I, wrong place, wrong time’, or this or that,” said Daniel.

“But maybe that’s the growth in me or the maturity where I don’t think that anymore. I’m still here because I believe I can win a title, and I want to win a title. But I’m at peace with whatever happens. As long as I go out and leave it all on the track, I’ll get fulfillment.” said Ricciardo.
