The first of two races at the Red Bull Ring is done and dusted, and Max Verstappen emerged as the victor of what turned out to be a rather uneventful fight for the win. It was a rather poor race for his arch-rival, Lewis Hamilton, who was nowhere close to race leader Verstappen and had to settle for second place.
Understandably, he wants his team to improve on their pace and extract performance however they can.

Speaking after the race, Lewis said, “We need an upgrade of some sort. We are not sure if it’s the rear wing or the engine, but we need to find some performance from somewhere.
The Knight will be hoping that an upgrade will come soon enough, for they return to race at the same track in just a week’s time.

Red Bull’s Verstappen won the Styrian Grand Prix, giving him the twenty-five points that he needed to extend his lead against Hamilton. While the Brit managed to come second and score nineteen points, an extra for the setting the fastest lap, that wasn’t good enough to help regain the lead.
An eighteen-point gap exists between the two talented drivers, and with the next round at the Red Bull Ring as well, Hamilton is hoping to have improved and take the fight to the Dutchman.
