F1 is back! The sport is returning to action this weekend at the Bahrain Grand Prix to kick-start its 2022 season. There has been a lot of anticipation regarding this season as we will see new regulations and new cars on the track. A major change coming in this season is the teams will have a budget cap of $140 million to work with.

During the first practice session of the season, the sport unveiled new graphics. The new graphics are more stylish and less jarring than previous iterations. F1 journalist will Buxton praised the F1 team for working wonders on the new graphics.

F1 World Champion Max Verstappen is excited for the 2022 season

As reported by GPFans, the 2021 champion Max Verstappen, has mentioned that he is excited for the new season to begin. He explained the reason behind his anticipation for the beginning of the 2022 season and what he expects from it.

“I’m always initially not excited, but then the closer we get to a race weekend, the more you get really into it and I’m more excited. I think it’s a whole new era for the sport as well and, of course, they were focused on mainly trying to bring everyone closer together and making the racing better,” said Max.

It would be the first time that the Red Bull driver will defend his title in Formula One. Although he has mentioned that he won’t change his approach, it would be interesting to see if there are any subtle changes. The Dutch driver would hope that the Austrian team can provide him with another championship-winning car this season.
