Valtteri Bottas has found a new home at Alfa Romeo. After making the switch from Mercedes, he’s been a driver for Alfa Romeo in 2022. Little did he know, he would still have the pleasure of starting races alongside his old teammate, despite being in an Alfa Romeo. However, now in his third race for the new team, he has a special helmet to sport at the Australian Grand Prix.

Valtteri Bottas’ special helmet for the Australian GP

Valtteri Bottas will sport a special helmet at the Australian Grand Prix. It is a special helmet created by his girlfriend, Tiffany Cromwell. Tiffany, being an Australian herself, captured the essence of the country in this beautifully designed helmet.

The helmet is beach-themed and covers a few things which Bottas covers as he shows off the helmet. A blue hue covers most of the helmet, to represent the Australian beaches and the sky. The helmet also has some kangaroos, which the Australians commonly refer to as roos. It’s a special edition helmet that we’re sure Bottas will cherish.

Bottas takes some time to take the viewers through the helmet. The top of the helmet also features a famous Australian slang, “fair dinkum”. Tiffany, apart from being a pro cyclist, is obviously a brilliant artist as she designed this eye-catching helmet for Valtteri.

Let’s hope this helmet also brings Bottas some luck this weekend. Apart from its unfortunate failure at Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the Alfa Romeo C38 has performed well so far. It is incredibly quick and looks like a real challenger to the other mid-field team.

Another win at Australian GP for Valtteri?

As the last winner of the Australian GP, Bottas would surely go in the race to win it. This time around, however, he won’t be driving a Mercedes car. But that thought might not trouble him that much, considering the current state of Mercedes.

Mercedes is really struggling while Valtteri is surpassing all expectations into the new season. The car is rapid and the driver pairing might just work for Alfa Romeo.

Bottas has the right experience, which can help the rookie Zhou Guanyu. This can make the team a challenger to finish in the top 5 in the constructors’ championship. But as for now, let’s focus on this weekend’s race and see how things go for Alfa Romeo and Bottas with that shiny new helmet of his.
