It is a known fact that Nikita Mazepin fought his way into Formula 1 amidst a lot of controversies. And, by ‘a lot’, we aren’t exaggerating it at all. There was a lot of hate against the Russian driver, with a few even demanding the termination of his Haas contract.
But, as days passed, the heat surrounding Mazepin subsided and the focus drastically shifted to racing – the 2021 F1 season. But, there were again a lot of criticisms over Mazepin’s on-track competitiveness; he was often pacing over a second slower than his own teammate, Mick Schumacher.

Thankfully for Haas, the criticisms weren’t sticking around for long. The Russian picked his pace in subsequent races and is indeed looking quite good, hardly ever causing negative headlines with crashes or other off-track shenanigans. Oh, did we jinx it? Looks like it.
Mazepin is back in trouble although there isn’t much information as to how he got into it and whether he is out of it. Well, here’s what we know.
Nikita Mazepin kicked out of a club?
Following the Mexican Grand Prix, Mazepin and several other F1 drivers spent the night partying in a club. And according to Sky Germany, the party host was apparently Red Bull Racing, probably for their crew to celebrate the double-podium success at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
One of the fans took a video of the Mazepin incident. In the video, the Russian can be seen having a heated argument with quite a lot of men. The video does stop there, but many media outlets claimed that Mazepin was ultimately shown the door.

There were other drivers partying at that time, including Sergio Perez, Alex Albon, and George Russell. But, none of them made their presence in front of the camera nor did they intervene in the quarrel by the looks of it.

Of course, we can’t drag ourselves to any conclusions unless we know what really happened. This is certainly going to be a hot topic as we head to Brazil for a race weekend at Interlagos, Sau Paulo. Hence, will we get to hear about it from Mazepin himself? Well, only time will tell.
