It’s finally here! The Formula 1 world has just witnessed the launch of the new car for the largest and perhaps the most controversial name on the grid Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 team. That most talked about team name on the grid now has just launched its 2024 challenger and it’s called VCARB 01. Nothing compared to the Cash App RB team name reception, the reactions to the car launch will surprise you and take you on a trip down memory lane.
Visa Cash App RB team already made a lot of headlines with its name revelation after AlphaTauri’s contract ran out at the end of the 2023 season. Many were excited about the new name of Red Bull’s sister team. However, we all know the fans did not appreciate the “Visa Cash App” name for a Formula 1 team.

Apart from additional help from the Austrian team in the aerodynamics department, which many assume will play a huge role in the new car’s performance, Red Bull has little to nothing to do with the car’s name.
The VCARB 01 is a throwback to the team’s last car under the Toro Rosso branding. This earned the fans’ appreciation as Visa Cash App did not make it a carbon fiber dominant livery unlike most teams on the grid. They also paid attention to all the negative reactions to other livery launches and used that to their advantage. How? With a simple caption.
