After the post-qualifying session when Hamilton was talking to the media, he turned towards the German driver and asked if the then-Ferrari driver has touched his car or not.

To give you context, Vettel was also known as ‘Inspector Seb’ in the paddock, as he was more often than not seen inspecting his rivals’ cars after sessions.

As it had become a running gag at that point, Hamilton interrupted Seb’s interview and said, “Sebastian, I have heard you have been touching my car, is that true?”

“You were looking or touching my car? He said you were touching my car. Touching ah okay.”

Vettel responded, “Just looking.”
