The news of Hamilton’s contract extension came as great news to the personnel over at Mercedes. this includes Hamilton’s favorite person on the paddock- his physiotherapist, Angela Cullen.

She has been by his side since the 2016 season. In the light of recent events, she shared her excitement for the next two years with Hamilton in an emotional Instagram post. “Can’t hide it, I was super happy,” she says.

Hamilton reposted her message and replied, “Couldn’t do without you.” The pair have one of the most heartwarming relationships on the paddock. Hamilton has shared every celebration with his right-hand woman.

Who is Angela Cullen?

Angela Cullen is the last person Lewis sees before the race and the first person he celebrates with after it. More importantly, she is the driving force behind his success over the last six years. Hamilton describes her as an important person in his life.

“People for sure won’t understand it, naturally, because they see it from a distance, but she has been one of the greatest things that’s happened to me in my life.

“I’ve been fortunate to work with a lot of people… and she’s the single hardest-working woman that I get to be around.”

With her by his side, Lewis has won four championship titles and is on his way for a fifth. With the contract extension, it’s a surety that the powerful duo will once again make their presence felt with Hamilton on the podium.
