WATCH: Aston Martin Present Sebastian Vettel With an Early Christmas Present

December is the month of the festive season, as teams are still occupied with doing F1 testing in Abu Dhabi, they haven’t forgotten to have some fun as Christmas is around the corner. This time it was Aston Martin’s Sebastian Vettel who got his helmet decorated with reindeer horns.

The 4-time world champion was quite surprised by the gesture done by the Silverstone-based team. Nevertheless, Vettel was overjoyed seeing the high spirits of his British team.

The Formula One season is over, but teams are still doing their test at the Yas Marina to get ready for next year. With Christmas right around the corner, Aston Martin took the opportunity to give Vettel a Christmas present.

As the German was talking to his Aston Martin colleague in the garage, he was informed about his present. Vettel was overjoyed to see his race helmet with reindeer horns on top, and said, “Merry Christmas”.

A disappointing year for Vettel at Aston Martin

The German driver was hoping to redeem himself at the British team after a lackluster final year at Ferrari. However, Vettel failed to make the impact he was hoping for in his new team.

One of the highlights of his 2021 campaign was when we scored a podium at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix by crossing the line in second place.

With the season completed, Sebastian could only manage to bag 43 points and find himself twelfth in the driver’s standings. As he gets ready to tackle the challenges that await him next season, Vettel is hoping to bounce back from the disappointing season he endured, and take the Silverstone-based team to the next level.
