Carlos Sainz left McLaren over a week ago now. The Spaniard spent the best days of his F1 career yet at the English Camp. However, after an impressive stint of two years, he decided that he needed a change of air. The winds of Italy called to him and thus, he walked away with Ferrari.
Sainz left behind his entire team and teammate at McLaren. Zak Brown and party gave him all they could and made him into the racer he is today. However, he knows that, from here, he will have to walk without them if he wants to win more than what he usually did. P4 and P5 do not suffice him anymore, it’s the victories that he desires now.
Keeping his aim in mind, is Ferrari the right spot for the Sainz Jr.?
