The kids and their encouraging gestures toward Carlos Sainz was touching for everyone to watch. Fans were happy to see that Sainz was receiving so much love and respect after joining the Prancing Horse.

Sainz on Daniel Ricciardo’s apology

After the disappointing Melbourne race, Sainz was looking forward to the Emilia Romagna GP, as it was a home race for his F1 team. He even got a new power unit for the Imola race. In addition, Sainz qualified P4, giving him a great starting position and a chance to even fight for the podium.

After the race, the Honey Badger went to the Ferrari HQ and requested to meet the Spaniard. As the Aussie wanted to personally apologize for ruining Sainz’s race. Ricciardo’s personality and the gesture melted the Ferrari driver.

Carlos commented on Ricciardo’s gesture by saying, “As a sportsman, Daniel is honored that he came to the Ferrari pit box immediately after the race and apologized to me.”
