After an impressive performance in the Turkish Grand Prix last weekend, Charles Leclerc returned to Maranello for some off time. He was seen chilling and hanging out with his family at the Ferrari factory.

He even gave them a ride in the back of his car. First, he took out his girlfriend and his mother for a spin in a remodeled three-seater cockpit. His girlfriend, Charlotte Sine, took to social media to claim the experience as one of the best in her life.

“Thank you for this unique & magical experience ❤️ @charles_leclerc ily ❤️And of course, guess who made the best lap time 😉
Can’t wait to get the video of my face soon 😂” wrote Charlotte.

Charles Leclerc analyzes his Turkish GP performance

The Ferrari driver put in one of his best performances of the season at the Turkish GP to finish P4. The Monegasque driver was briefly leading the race at the end but had to stop after his tires started graining.

“At first, in the first five, six laps of the others on the new inters, we were quicker than them on the used inters. But after six laps I think they cleared the graining and then they found a lot of performance–around three seconds a lap–and then we had no choice, we had to stop,” said Leclerc.

“For the last 10 laps, I was just trying to switch on those inters that never really came to life. It’s a bit of a shame because that made us lose the podium, but I don’t regret anything.”

This performance must’ve given both Charles and the team confidence, as this is proof that the new engine is working. Leclerc would go into the next race with faith as they have a car that is quick on the straights too.
