Hamilton has talked about Cullen many times on several occasions. He has mentioned how theirs is “the greatest partnership” and how she always helps him stay at his peak health for the races. With the Turkish Grand Prix getting underway this weekend, Lewis Hamilton let Angela Cullen jump into his F1 car and take a seat.

Dream comes true for Angela Cullen

Sitting in an F1 car is a dream for many people, even for people who work in F1. The cockpit and the seat of the cars are specifically designed and customized for the drivers. So it’s not a surprise that Angela Cullen seemed like she was one of the happiest people in the world when Lewis invited her to sit in his car.

Angela Cullen posted a picture on her Instagram where she is sitting inside the Mercedes AMG W12, Lewis’ car for this season. And Lewis Hamilton is standing outside.

She explained her feelings in the caption, “So when your boss says you can sit in his car you are not going to say no… Right !!! Absolutely one of the coolest things I have ever done.”

Angela explains the feeling of being in an F1 car

Angela further explained how it feels to sit inside an F1 car, “[I]t’s crazy how low down you sit almost lying backward and I really could not see over the steering wheel, but it felt like I was in a space rocket 🚀 or about to be shot out of a cannon.”

She also mentioned, “[I]t’s super sleek and you can feel the power just by sitting in it, It’s crying out to go fast … Unfortunately I didn’t get to drive it out of the garage … couldn’t reach the pedals !!. What a crazy amazing experience.”

She finished off the post saying that Lewis was pretty good at holding her drink bottle. This shows how close they are, and this is probably one of the most important reasons behind Lewis being so successful. Even Lewis has admitted before that Angela was one of the best things that had happened to him.
