Charles Leclerc is ashamed to lose points in Imola

The Emilia Romagna GP was the home race for the Ferrari F1 team. But after Carlos Sainz’s retirement in the first lap, all the pressure was on Leclerc. So, The Ferrari driver was trying too hard to get to P2 against Red Bull’s Sergio Perez.

However, Charles damaged his front wing during the Lap 53 while trying to push Checo. He had to go back for an extra pit stop to change the damaged front wing. In doing so, the 24-year-old driver dropped P9 from P3. But since he was on soft tires, he again gained positions. Eventually, he finished P6 instead of the potential P3. After the race, Leclerc was ashamed of the results.
