Verstappen is a proud member of the squad, as the Red Line is a popular and successful team. Although the 24-year-old may not be as good as some of the top sim racing professionals, he is still an excellent driver. And his driving in the BMWSIM GT Cup race showcased exactly that.

iRacing, the platform used for sim racing, simulates real-life scenarios for auto racing experiences. They conducted the BMW SIM GT Cup in the same venue as the Belgium GP at Spa-Francorchamps. Having raced at Spa multiple times might’ve given Verstappen some advantage as the Red Bull man covered 42 places. Verstappen jumped from P50 to P8 before handing over the racing duties to a fellow Red Line racer who eventually finished at P7.

Max Verstappen and his racing wishlist

During the Monaco GP weekend, Verstappen answered a question regarding his desire to attain the Triple Crown. The Triple Crown is an unofficial title given to the winner of Monaco GP, 24-hour LeMans, and Indy 500. And despite ruling himself out of the Indy 500, labeling it “insane,” Verstappen kept an open mind about Le Mans.
