UEFA, Europe’s governing body for soccer clubs, has brought in a new venture that stars Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Zlatan is a soccer superstar at AC Milan who can be seen taking a Ferrari 296 GTB for a spin in the tweet above.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic shared the video on his official Twitter handle. Charles in the video shows his 2019 Ferrari SF-90 and states his first race win as “This is the car I won my first ever race in Formula 1.” Followed by this, we can see Carlos Sainz expressing his love for soccer by saying, “Champions League, I try to watch every match.”

Sainz is a renowned Real Madrid fan whereas his teammate Leclerc is a fan of AS Monaco. In the video, Zlatan also shares that “They call me the Ferrari on the pitch” and “When you buy Ibrahimovic, you buy a Ferrari.” The video is a teaser for a Champions League special, and it’s about to be released on March 25, 2022.

What makes Ferrari so special for UEFA?
Apart from F1, soccer is also an important sport in Italy. The country is home to four World cups and has recently won the UEFA EURO 2020. Ferrari, being an Italian team, has a good connection with Italian soccer clubs. Moreover, the team’s base is in Maranello, some 200 KMs away from the city of Milan.
