Valtteri Bottas will race for Alfa Romeo in the 2022 season. The Finn ended a successful term of five years with Mercedes at the end of the 2021 season. To begin his new relationship with the Swiss team, Bottas and his new teammate, Guanyu Zhou, visited the Alfa Romeo museum.

The two F1 drivers were having some fun at the museum. The Chinese driver took to social media to share a picture of Valtteri sitting in a vintage Alfa Romeo car. Zhou poked fun at Bottas, but the Finnish driver also replied hilariously to his comment on his Instagram.

” Comfy @valtteribottas,” said Zhou in his Insta story. ” Yes, didn’t wanna get out,” replied Bottas on his Instagram.

Valtteri Bottas shares his views on his new teammate in 2022

Valtteri Bottas will partner Guanyu Zhou for the 2022 season. Zhou will make his debut in F1 after impressing everyone with his driving in Formula 2. Bottas recognized that a young driver needs time in the sport but he hopes that the Chinese driver will develop quickly.

“As a driver, your first year in F1 is never easy. There are always lots of things to learn. But nowadays, every team is so professional there are lots of people that the drivers, they get so much support, so much coaching and help that I’m sure that he will develop quickly.” said Valtteri.

“He seems really hungry to learn more and do well. And we’ll work as a team. Every teammate that I’ve had, I’ve always been able to work well with them. I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work with him,” said the Alfa Romeo driver.

It would be interesting to see how Bottas and Zhou pair up in their first season. The duo would look to take the Swiss team towards the midfield of the grid and make them more competitive compared to previous years.
