Lewis Hamilton did not have a good race at the Italian Grand Prix at Monza this past weekend, as he was involved in a horrific crash with Max Verstappen. Nevertheless, the 7-times world champion congratulated his old team, McLaren, as Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo achieved a spectacular result.
Norris was thrilled about being congratulated by his fellow countrymen. However, he was more glad to see that the Mercedes driver was doing fine after being involved in a horrible crash with his arch-rival.

Can Hamilton bounce back for the Russian Grand Prix?
The Mercedes driver was aiming to achieve an excellent result at Monza in hopes to regain the lead in the title race. However, his incident with arch-rival, Verstappen, shattered those hopes.
However, the gap to Verstappen in the driver’s standings is still at five points. With a week off from F1, Hamilton would hope to regroup with his Mercedes colleagues and come out on top in Sochi.

The Knight is well aware of Verstappen’s three-place grid penalty that he will have overcome in Russia. Hence, Hamilton will hope to capitalize on this opportunity to help him in this title fight with the Red Bull prodigy.
