The new F1 season usually starts in late February, with the shakedown of new cars as well as the pre-season testing. However, before the season gets going, the F1 drivers usually get a month or so to spend with their families. During this winter break, almost every driver is seen spending time with their partners, children, and family.

In an Instagram post shared by the defending champion’s partner, Kelly Piquet, Max Verstappen is seen being adorable and goofy. The video is shared along with three other photos. It’s pretty evident from the photos that they went on Valentine’s date.

Who is Max Verstappen’s partner Kelly Piquet?

Apart from being a partner to Max, Kelly Piquet is also a renowned face in F1. Daughter to three times world champions Nelson Piquet, the woman has made quite a name for herself. Piquet hails from Brazil and is a model, blogger, columnist, and public relations professional. She has been dating Max since October 2020, and it’s evident that they both are a happy couple.

Interestingly, Kelly used to date another prominent name in the F1 world, Daniil Kvyat. He was Kelly’s partner for a few years before they mutually parted ways in December 2019. Kelly has a daughter with Daniil named Penelope.

Kelly is seen often hanging out around the globe with Verstappen. The 33-year-old is seen supporting her partner on and off grid throughout the season.
