WATCH: Lando Norris Left Green With Jealousy Over Daniel Riccardo-Max Verstappen F1 Partnership

The F1 2022 game is out and fans are excited about racing on their favorite tracks with their favorite cars, and drivers. The drivers also got to have a bit of fun with the game. They took turns guessing their teammate’s ratings on the game. In doing so, Lando Norris let slip his emotions about Max Verstappen in the process.

The McLaren duo of Ricciardo and Norris, always being the jokesters, took this challenge to make fun of each other. The Brit poked fun at Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen’s bromance from their Red Bull days.

He doodled Max’s initials on Ricciardo’s forehead, and said, “He prefers Max over me”. His teammate was quick to respond, “I was with Max longer as a partner… as a teammate”.

Norris shook his head adding, “We got more time to work around us.” Ricciardo concluded things by saying, “Maybe there is time to earn LN on my forehead”.

Will these two form a similar bond? Who knows? However, at the moment, both the drivers will be focused on the season at hand. They will be looking forward to securing a good haul of points at the British GP, which is up next.

Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo’s bromance back in their Red Bull days

Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo have had one of the most adored F1 friendships in recent times. They spent 3 seasons together at Red Bull and enjoyed excellent rapport, for the most part. Ricciardo has previously also commented on how strong their bond was.

Speaking to Formula 1 magazine back in 2018, he said, “Max and I do a lot outside the job together, and I couldn’t get along as well with anyone else.” He added “Red Bull organizes a lot of silly things for us to do, where we have a lot of fun. And why not?”

Their bromance carried on even after Ricciardo left Red Bull. They could often be seen crashing each other’s interviews and joking around the paddock. Their bromance had attracted such a following that the fans named the duo “Maxiel”. Even after all these years, their friendship remains strong.
