One could see the utter disappointment in Norris’ face as he kept nodding “No” after watching the replay.

Lando and Sainz are believed to have one of the healthiest relationships that F1 has witnessed between teammates. The fans, too, were amused by the respect the drivers held for each other on and off the track.

How did the crash that Lando Norris reacted to take place?

During the restart, Latifi and Magnussen managed to slow their car down to the speed of that of the frontrunners and avoided an accident. But it was too late for Giovinazzi and Sainz. Giovinazzi crashed into the two cars ahead and Sainz, who only had the view of Giovinazzi’s car, had no time to react as he too crashed into him.

Towards the end of the race, Mclaren’s Team Principal, Andreas Seidl, revealed that Sainz had escaped with bruises and he was fine with no major injuries.
