What happened between Lewis Hamilton & Nico Rosberg?

Ever since retiring from F1, Rosberg has been a part of the Sky Sports F1 family, making his presence as a commentator alongside David Croft over the Dutch Grand Prix weekend. The German was also on the grid involved in the pre-race coverage on Sunday afternoon at Zandvoort.

While doing his usual job, he saw Hamilton walking towards him and spoke to the camera, “So, we just got Lewis passing by here now.”

However, while passing Rosberg, Hamilton managed to avoid the German completely by making an awkward dunk away from him and walked away. There was barely any eye contact from the seven-time world champion, and of course, Rosberg did speak of the encounter to the camera.

Didn’t get much of a reaction. But, that’s… that’s understandable,” Rosberg said. The German was looking keen on having a chat with the Mercedes driver. But Hamilton indirectly showed his disinterest by shunning his former rival.
