Sports personalities are always an inspiration to kids around the world, whether on the football field or the Formula One race track. There is no doubt that Lewis Hamilton is a role model for many; not just in sports, but even ordinary people around the world. So it is no surprise to see young fans look up to the 7-time world champion.

Recently, a young Hamilton fan chose the Mercedes driver as a “remarkable” person for his school project.

Hamilton is adored by his fans, and a recent gesture shows how much they look up to him. 7-year-old Elliott selected the British driver for a school project that wanted the students to showcase a remarkable person.

The Brackley-based outfit was overwhelmed by the joy they received from the young fan and had to share the wholesome moment with the Formula One community. The Silver Arrows wrote, “How amazing is THIS!Awesome work, Elliott!”

The 2021 season was perhaps the most intense year in Hamilton’s career, as he had a tough battle with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. The title fight went down to the last race in Abu Dhabi. A controversial decision changed the course of the race, with the Dutch driver preventing Lewis from winning his eighth world championship.

Despite the fact that his contract with Mercedes has not ended, there is still speculation over whether he would return following the controversial race at the Yas Marina circuit.
