When the news of the Las Vegas GP was revealed to the drivers, they reacted jubilantly. Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton stated, “That’s going to be a pretty hardcore event. Knowing that it’s a real party city, it’s difficult for a racing driver. There’s gonna be so much going on.”

Defending champion Max Verstappen laughed and said, “Few drivers might not wake up for the race itself. Let’s not do back to back on this one. Give it like two weeks break before and after. If you call it detox, yeah. It’s gonna be fun.” Mercedes’s George Russell conveyed, “I cannot imagine what it’s gonna be like. This is gonna be absolute madness. Let’s go.”
