Things have not been easy for the Hamilton family. Lewis and Nicholas have been subject to mockery and discrimination throughout their lives. While they tried to carve a life for themselves, it simply wasn’t easy. Above all, Nicholas suffered from cerebral palsy, which affected his mobility to extensive levels.

Lewis has previously spoken about how people would say hurtful things and eye his brother differently.

In a recent post celebrating Nicholas’ 30th birthday, Lewis called the young man “the greatest gift ever”. Nicholas also dreamed of becoming a racing driver from a young age. Though the young man’s conditions forced him to never participate, he fought hard and now acts as an acting racing diver.

Nicholas also claims to have never asked Lewis for any racing help or any money. Moreover, Hamilton Jr. is often seen supporting his big brother during races.

Got each other’s back

Nicholas was also a very central speaker for Hamilton when he took off social media after a tough championship loss. The two are often spotted partying and enjoying themselves together. Despite being just paternal half-siblings, the two brothers love each other immensely. Nicholas is also the first man with a disability to compete in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
