WATCH: Max Verstappen Crashes Into Girlfriend Kelly Piquet During an Ice Skating Session
It seems after a rollercoaster of a season that was full of intense battles and dramatic moments, champion Max Verstappen is spending his holidays after putting behind all the incidents and crashes from 2021. Or is he?
In a recent story posted by his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, on Instagram, the couple can be seen trying their luck at indoor ice skating. It should be noted that neither of them is an expert or a professional skater.
So the question turns from “Who is better?” to “Who is worse?”

While in the first of the two stories Piquet struggles a bit, in the second one it is very clear that Verstappen is the worse of the couple when it comes to ice skating. It appears that in order to keep himself on his feet, the Dutchman ended up putting Piquet down on the floor as the text on her story suggests, “..not sure who took down who.”
But despite that, fair play to Verstappen, who helped Piquet up from the floor.
Will Max Verstappen slip after winning his first championship? Alain Prost answers
Alain Prost recently described how Max Verstappen would approach the 2022 season. Prost, a four-time champion is one of the figures to accurately comment on how a driver approaches the season after winning their first title. “With a world title in your pocket, you drive and think differently,” Prost said.
“As soon as you win one, the pressure is less. He will know even better when to attack and when to take less risks, and in the end he will be a better driver,” the Frenchman spoke of Verstappen.

He further explained how the Red Bull driver had “a perfect season,” how Verstappen was “ready to reach the top,” and now, “he’s only getting better.”
What Prost says about Max Verstappen getting better is indeed the truth considering that’s the only thing he has done since his debut in 2016. But one thing he probably won’t get better at is ice skating.
