Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have become a formidable pairing on the track. Both drivers are currently performing at their peaks to help Red Bull win their first constructor’s championship since 2013. But interestingly, they also get on very well off the track.

Verstappen and Perez share an amazing bond and we often see them give fans some wonderful glimpses of their friendship, especially during Red Bull’s off-track challenges. So it was no surprise to see them having fun during a photo shoot recently.
The world champion was doing a photo shoot while his teammate for sitting behind the camera. The Dutch driver was trolling Perez constantly and poking fun at him after he got many praises from the photographer.

” Luckily I’ve got some fans looking, eh?” said the Red Bull driver while addressing Perez, who was behind the camera.
Referring to the praise he got from the photographer, Verstappen said, “Did you hear that, Checo? ‘Wow!’ This is why we do it, eh? This is when we grew up, this is what we dreamed of,” added Verstappen.
In reply, Checo cheered, “Living the dream!”

It is nice to see that there is such a soothing vibe between the teammates, despite them being the top two title contenders at this point. Speaking a little more to that, Perez in a recent interview mentioned that there is no jealousy between them.

During their interview with Lad Bible, the Mexican driver expressed that there was no animosity between him and the reigning world champion. Meanwhile, he admitted that there could be some resentment in such a competitive environment as he had experienced with a teammate before.

“I think sometimes in the past I’ve had some jealousy from a teammate. Because you obviously want to win, but when the guy next to you wins, you have to give the credit, he’s done better than you, he’s won and you have to accept that and also feel proud of what he’s done, the guy next to you.”

“And I think not many people can take it, but I think within us, when I win, when Max wins, there is always we feel proud for each other and that I think is something good within us,” said Checo.
