Drivers often use their helmets to pay their respects to people close to them or to remind them of things, and it is only fair that Dutchman commemorates his team home track with his lid.

Max Verstappen has a special helmet for Red Bull’s home race

The 23-year-old said, “Hi guys, of course, we are back here in Austria, home Grand Prix. And, of course with a home Grand Prix, we have a helmet reveal like every year, and what a surprise! Surprise, it’s yellow again.”

“Of course, its different yellow and design than what we had last year. As you can see there is a lot more blue in it. So I think it’s a bit of refreshment from what we had so far, and of course the names of all the corners on the helmet, which I think is a very nice touch.”

“But of course that’s not the only thing you can get. Because we have the mini ones, like always. I think this one again, super nice.

“And of course, the other one, little bit bigger, fortunately not just as big as my head. But both of them are, of course, available at Verstappen.com,” he concluded.
