Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo have recently opened up on the controversial Max Verstappen – Lewis Hamilton clash. The McLaren duo has talked about the Silverstone clash between the two heavyweights. Lewis Hamilton collided with Max Verstappen on the very first lap of the race at the British Grand Prix.
Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo came up on board with Motorsport.com for some moments. The duo shared some hilarious moments during their time with the US-based news portal. The game they played is known as Smash or Pass.

As the game went on, a picture showing Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen came up. The duo had to choose between smash or pass as per the rule of the game. In that regard, Lando conveyed, “Well I mean that is a smash, while trying to pass.”
Talking about the clash, the Honeybadger stated, “Oh Silverstone, Copse. Lewis and Max. Let’s pass that. No one wants to see a high-speed accident.”
What happened at Silverstone with Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen?

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton started the race from the front. As the race started the duo started pushing each other for the top spot. After a stiff battle, Verstappen got his nose out in front.
As they pushed each other hard, Verstappen was leading from Hamilton. It was the Copse corner in Silverstone, the duo collided. Lewis tried to go inside of the Dutchman and nicked his right rear. As a result, the 2021 world champion crashed out of the race.

The heavy crash left the Red Bull fans in anger. However, Lewis Hamilton ended up winning the British Grand Prix. The Briton served a 10-second penalty for knocking Max out of the race. This win proved to be beneficial for his fight for the Championship which he lost in the end.
