The Red Bull tradition in Monaco continues

Sergio Perez did a flip into the Red Bull energy station swimming pool to celebrate his Monaco win. Ahead of the race, Checo and Max shot a video for the Austrian F1 team’s YouTube channel. They had to take out ducks from the pool and complete the challenge.

Verstappen took out a duck which asked him to jump into the pool. But the Dutch said he’ll do it on Sunday, hinting at a possible Monaco win. However, things didn’t go Max’s way as his teammate Perez won the race, and he later jumped into the pool.

The Red Bull tradition continued in 2022 with Checo. However, this might be an end to an amazing tradition as Monaco could lose its spot on the F1 calendar next season.

Sergio Perez can now fight for the world championship

The F1 fans started seeing Checo as a Red Bull Number Two, especially after he gave up the 2022 Spanish GP win to Verstappen on team orders. But after the Monaco win, he’s only 15 points away from championship leader Max.
