F1 will race in Maimi for the first time next month. The sport will race at the iconic Hard Rock Stadium as the track is built around the facility. Red Bull recently released a video of Sergio Perez racing around the circuit in an old Red Bull.

It is certainly a very fun video released from the Austrian team a month before the race. They shot the video in New York where we can see Perez racing through the iconic streets of the city. Then, in a twist, we see him doing a cross-country road trip in a Formula One car on his way to Miami.

When he reached the track, there was still work going on, but it did not stop him from doing a lap around the Hard Rock Stadium. Everyone is really excited to race in Miami for the first time next month, especially Perez.

The Mexican driver is always happy to raise in the states as it is really close to his home in Mexico. Since Miami is the second race to be held in the United States of America, it is good news for Sergio, as he now has 3 races close to him.
“I think Miami is a great location for Formula One. It’s a very fun city and there’s lots of energy in that place. The Latino community is pretty big there, so I’m definitely looking forward to going there soon,” said Checo.

“I think it’s very important for F1 to grow the fanbase over in the US, so it’s a great spot for us. As a sport, the connection with Miami will be great and I’m looking forward to meeting all the fans there,” said the Red Bull driver.

Not only the drivers but the fans are also looking forward to seeing F1 cars race in America. The tickets got sold out immediately when they were announced on the website last season.

The track looks like a high-speed street circuit overlooking the Hard Rock Stadium on the sides. Everyone is eagerly waiting to take the track in May and enjoy the chilled vibe of the city.
