The German could not replicate the Red Bull success graph with Ferrari and Aston Martin. Despite that, Vettel’s presence and his expertise in the paddock were a great asset. Lawrence Stroll, the Aston Martin owner, echoed these emotions during a recent interview.

During an exclusive interview with Maxim Magazine, Jared Stern asked Stroll about Vettel. The question stated, “Do you see Sebastian Vettel’s retirement as a setback or an opportunity?”

To this, he replied, “I want to thank Sebastian from the bottom of my heart for the great work that he has done for Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team over the past year-and-a-half.
