The Miami GP circuit explained

Miami is a hotbed for sporting excellence. The Hard Rock Stadium – home to the NFL team Miami Dolphins, has hosted six Super Bowls. It’s also played host to countless pop concerts, rock shows, and sporting events over the years.

The new street-track spectacular is in the heart of the Hard Rock Stadium and makes full use of its surroundings to create a thrilling, challenging, and spectacular layout. A wide range of elevation changes will make pit strategy interesting, while short straights and long corners – including the Turn 14-15 chicane could see stunning racing.

It will also ensure wheel-to-wheel racing. The track also features three straight sections, all suited for overtaking opportunities. There is also a potential for 3 DRS zones with a top speed of up to 320 km/h.

The Miami GP is also trying to create a Monaco-like aura with a marina. However, this has left the fans unimpressed. The facilities include a stunning yacht club and make-shift beach with a swimming pool as well.

Who are the stars in attendance for the Miami GP?

The party in Miami is all set to kick-off as early as Wednesday. An opening night event, held on 4th May, will feature a performance from Norwegian DJ and producer Kygo, along with the likes of Travis Scott, Snoop Dog, and the Chainsmokers are in attendance as well.

The party in the Hard Rock Stadium will continue till the 8th of May. The star-studded lineup is music to the ears of the fans (literally). Popular Columbian singer Maluma is performing Sunday, while Post Malone will perform the day before.
