Yuki Tsunoda has had a rollercoaster month or so. Back at the Dutch Grand Prix, he was accused of engineering a late Safety Car to allow Max Verstappen to win his home Grand Prix. Now Red Bull has delivered him with some much-needed good news.

Given that Gasly may as well be on the move to Alpine next year, Red Bull has taken a calculated decision. It was announced earlier today that Yuki Tsunoda’s contract with AlphaTauri has been extended till the end of 2023.
