Max Verstappen is one of the rare breeds of race drivers in Formula 1. His surreal talent, combined with his winning mentality, is a deadly combo. Although, he has been labeled as ‘Mad Max’ or a ‘ticking time bomb’ in the sport by many; a 2015 video surfaced of his interview on Twitter would suggest otherwise.
A young Max Verstappen displayed his soft side in an old interview. The Dutchman recalls what he was thinking about when he crossed the line to score his very first points. He recalls how he promised his sister Victoria that he would gift her a handbag when he scored his first points in Formula 1.

On race weekends, Max Verstappen is probably the most focused driver on the grid. However, he is not timorous to show his funny side. The Dutchman and then Red Bull driver, Daniel Ricciardo went head to head in a relatively anonymous sport called Kendo. It is a Japanese martial art and Max was seen wielding his sword made of bamboo like a pro.
In another incident, the Dutchman relished a unique opportunity to kart on ice. Verstappen gave Pierre Gasly a glimpse of Dutch life at the Biddinghuizen speed skating track.
