The talented Australian Formula One racer Daniel Ricciardo is having a good 2021 F1 season. He has scored points in 6 races out of the 7. Daniel Ricciardo has had a roller coaster F1 journey. The racer is in Formula One for the last 10 years.

Daniel started his F1 career with HRT in 2011. He then joined Toro-Rosso full-time in 2012. Ricciardo was then promoted and joined the Red Bull F1 team in 2014.

He has some great seasons with the Red Bull team. He completed 3rd in the Drivers’ championship twice in 2014 and 2016.

After 5 seasons and 7 wins with Red Bull, Daniel moved to Renault. The move was highly unexpected as the Renault car was not up to the mark as compared to his previous ride. With the Renault F1 team, he was able to finish 9th and 5th in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

In 2021, Daniel joined the McLaren F1 team. He has a 2 years contract. He drives alongside the British F1 driver Lando Norris.

The McLaren driver takes home a hefty salary. He is one of the highest-paid Formula One drivers. According to the sources, Daniel has a salary of $17 Million plus bonuses.

The Australian is well known for his jokes and pranks around the paddock. He once joked about his salary during one of the interview sessions.

The Australian is currently 9th in the drivers’ championship. He would want to improve his position in the title race as his team-mate Lando Norris is currently in 4th position with already 2 podium finishes in 7 races.
