41 years young and beaming with confidence, Fernando Alonso has been a revelation in the 2023 season. The Spaniard has already secured three third-place podiums in as many races and there’s no looking back. There is no looking back on his deep-rooted ambition of winning his third world championship title. Alonso recently communicated that in an interview as well with Bang & Olufsen. This determination towards his goal, the El Plan, is making fans rally behind the Spaniard.

Alonso sat down with his sponsors B&O to talk briefly about his career and his incredible start to the 2023 season. The Spaniard, after discussing various aspects of his life and podiums, which he deems insignificant, was asked about his career end.

“I’d like to know the answer, as well.” He said and added, “When I started in Formula 1, my idea was to be for seven or eight years. Then I won the two championships and I thought I will race maybe one or two more years and then I will stop.”

“Now I find myself with the longest career ever in Formula 1. I’m still fresh, still motivated, I still enjoy every single day. So there are a few more years for me and hopefully with a title contention in the future,” he concluded.
