The Miami Sprint Race went just as America hoped it would. In a race that took place just 18 miles away from Logan Sargeant’s home, the young driver did not disappoint his fans and family. He came in P10, which is his personal best all season, and isn’t that a reason to celebrate? Celebrate with whom you might ask. Riley Whittall of course!

Riley Whittall: Logan Sargeant’s Boo

Riley Whittall uploaded a picture on Instagram sometime towards the end of last year where she was seen visiting the Circuits of The Americas. In the picture, she was wearing a grey and white sundress-carrying a handbag, sunglasses, and a drink. But what piqued the curiosity of everyone was a comment by one of her friends, Alexis Loomans, who tagged the Florida-born driver and said, “@logansargeant Back off she’s mine.

This is where the rumors of the two being together started. Although the comment was quickly deleted, F1 fans took notice and a screenshot was captured. The comment by Loomans was a joke trying to tease the young driver, which was reasonable perhaps as Whittall does not have strong connections with F1 drivers besides Sargeant.

According to Linked In, Riley Whitall is a Development Associate at Unicorp National Developments in Orlando Florida. During her studying years, she was a student Volunteer at ‘Clean the World’ and a community volunteer at ‘Second Harvest’. Her birthday is on November 15 however her birth year is unknown.

Now, there is more than enough reason to be happy about Logan Sargeant’s home sprint going well. The win was not an easy one and could have also been difficult if Kevin Magnussen and Lewis Hamilton had not faced penalties.

The Penalties that granted Logan Sargeant his P10 finish in Miami

During the Miami Sprint Race, things got heated on the already hot track in the Sunshine State. Kevin Magnussen showed some remarkable driving during the first lap, avoiding the collisions and climbing from P14 to P8. The initial collision that put Lando Norris out of the race involved, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, and the British driver himself.

Things started to get intense when Lewis Hamilton tried to take Magnussen’s position but the Danish driver left him no space. Contact between Magnussen and Hamilton at Turn 12 allowed Yuki Tsunoda to overtake Hamilton.

Magnussen started to cut corners after he missed his first chicane for which he was given a 10-second penalty. With time, he continued to flirt with the borders and things got a little out of hand. Eventually, he was served a 35-second penalty by the end of the race, putting him in at P18.

Lewis Hamilton on the other hand received an initial drive-through penalty which gave him a 20-second hit on his time, making him finish at P16. With the two drivers dropping out of the top 10, this gave way to Pierre Gasly and Logan Sargeant into the top 10, unfortunately not enough to bring in any points.

However, that is a commendable finish and this gives both Logan Sargeant and Riley Whittall enough of a reason to celebrate. And hopefully, we get a confirmation of the two being in a romantic relationship.
