How is Kelly Piquet related to F1 Legend Nelson Piquet?

The 5ft 5inch Brunette was born on 7th December 1988 in Homburg, Germany. The 32-year-old works as a Motor Sports professional Blogger and columnist. She manages the social media and the blog writing department of Formula E’s official website.

Though she is a German national by birth, she has Brazilian roots as she is the daughter of the three-time F1 World Champion, Nelson Piquet. Her brother, Nelson Piquet Jr, is also a former F1 driver. He even won the 2014-15 Formula E World Championship.

The Formula 1 connection does not end here.

Has Kelly Piquet dated Max Verstappen’s former rival Daniil Kvyat?

She also dated Daniil Kvyat for three years, from January 2017 to December 2020. They also have a daughter, Penelope Kvyat, from their relationship; born on 27th July 2019.

Ironically, it was also Kvyat whom Max replaced in the middle of 2016 at Red Bull. The Russian’s career went downhill from there while the ‘Flying Dutchman’ has gone from strength to strength. He is without a seat for 2021 after AlphaTauri replaced him with Yuki Tsunoda.

What does Kelly Piquet do for a living?

Kelly is currently a model, who has worked with quite a few big companies like Vogue, Bergdorf Goodman, and others. She has also posed for PatBO and Lucas Boccalão. But that’s not it. The Brazilian has further taken part in catwalks in fashion shows too.

Kelly is fluent in speaking multiple languages, a few of them being English, French, and Portuguese.

Who else has Max Verstappen dated?

Verstappen, like Piquet, split from his alleged previous partner, Dilara Sanlik, at the end of 2020. He was often seen in the paddock with her before and after the races.

The F1 star announced that he was single in October 2020. It was probably around that time that the pair started seeing each other, and decided to go public with their relationship while ringing in 2021.

His new girlfriend also did the same shortly after with a picture where the couple donned white clothing.

Although Max has dated a few women, the Dutch driver is not a father yet. The 23-year-old’s girlfriend, however, mothers a girl child named Penelope Kvyat.

She was born to Kelly and former Red Bull driver, Kvyat. Although Penelope’s parents aren’t together, she does spend time the both of them.

Looks like Max has found a new love in his life in 2021. Maybe winning the driver’s title next season as well could be the perfect icing on the cake for him.
