Michael Schumacher is one of the most famous drivers in Formula One. The German driver is a 7-times world champion and the most successful driver with Ferrari. However, not much is known about his closest ally, his wife.

Corrina Schumacher has been spotted with a German driver on numerous occasions in the paddock when Michael was active in F1. But the F1 community has very limited knowledge about Mrs. Schumacher.

She was born on the 2nd of March 1952, making her 52 years old. Corrina is also interested in sports, as she won the European Championship in western style horse riding. Additionally, she is a dog lover and an animal activist.

She met Michael back in 1991 through a mutual friend, and in 1995 got married, and has been by his side through thick and through thin. In 97′ she gave birth to Gina-Maria, who is also interested in horse back riding, and later in 99′ gave birth to Mick; who followed his father’s footsteps in Formula One.

Corinna opens up about how she takes care of Michael

The Formula One community will never forget the tragic incident that took place in December of 2013. The German suffered a horrible skiing accident while on a vacation with his family in the French Alps.

Only a handful of people know about Michael’s conditions, and Corinna talks about she takes care of her husband. She said as quoted by The Sun, “No matter what happens, I’m going to do everything I can. We’re all going to do that.We do everything we can to make Michael better and make sure he’s comfortable and just to make him feel like he’s with his family and to continue our bond.”

Now in 2021, it is their son, Mick who competes in Formula One with Haas. Schumacher Jr is currently in his rookie year on the grid and hopes to replicate his dad’s achievement in the sport.
