Mclaren explains the missing branding

Mclaren and Aston Martin are customers of Mercedes but don’t run their logo on team kits or the car itself. However, Williams does run the logo on their team’s drivers, George Russell, who is part of their junior drivers’ program, and Nicholas Latifi.

“It is understood that Mercedes’ customer engine deals with teams do not stipulate the need for them to feature the company’s branding on the cars, and each F1 manufacturer has its own policy in this regard” reads a report from motorsport.com.
