Back in the day, Hamilton referred to Red Bull Racing as “just a drinks company” which still haunts him to this day. However, this controversial statement is thrown around often without consequences by any third parties. Will.I.Am joined this list of third parties, as seen on a video posted on Instagram.

The American rapper is first heard mocking the “drink company”. He said, “A drink, my dude! Imagine going like, ‘Yo, we did good this year bro, we sold a lot of drinks. What do you wanna do next year? I don’t know, let’s get in the race against like Mercedes.’ And Mercedes is like, ‘uh, the drink, hahaha!’ Yo bro, I’m all day Mercedes.”

However, Will.I.Am also gives the Austrian team a backhanded compliment. “But the audacity, ambition of a drink? Mic drop!”

Max Verstappen opens himself for criticism with F1 entities jogging his memory with his past crimes

The Dutchman felt the need to confront Mercedes man George Russell after the first sprint race of the season. We are all aware of the events which led to the harsh comments that followed. Because of his comments, Verstappen received a boatload of criticism. Among many, 1996 British world champion Damon Hill took this opportunity to job Verstappen’s memory.

Hill said, “If you cast your mind back to Monza with Lewis Hamilton, he (Verstappen) just didn’t back out of the corner, did he? So, he’s done it himself. He’s a hard racer. They’re both hard racers, George and Max. And this is what happens when you get a rock and hard place together.”

Will.I.Am, Damon Hill, and many more have taken the recent outburst to take subtle and obvious digs at Verstappen. However, despite that, we are sure the Dutchman will pay little to no heed to the criticism and will shut his naysayers up by doing his talking on the track.

It will be interesting to see if Sergio Perez can put a dent in those plans.
