Nikita Mazepin’s arrival at Haas was only arguably a marriage of convenience. The American team was in financial ruin and desperately needed sponsors to stay afloat. Nikita’s father, Dmitry Mazepin, owner of the fertilizer company Uralkali, sponsored the team, albeit with a seat reserved for his son.

Nikita Mazepin warns outgoing F1 drivers of what is coming

The 2022 season saw a lot of changes with its conclusion. Sebastian Vettel has bid the sport goodbye for good. Daniel Ricciardo will not race in F1 for at least one year as a regular. Mick Schumacher, if Mercedes commit, will join them as a reserve driver. Nicholas Latifi may not race in F1 again as the Canadian driver is rumored to join IndyCar.

All four drivers will definitely miss the F1 action and the flow of adrenaline while they stay away from the pinnacle of motorsport. However, they now know what to expect in the coming days as Nikita Mazepin opens up about his experience. Nikita recently posted a photo of him at the Yas Marina Circuit attending the 2022 season finale.
