Mental grit and determination have been the founding pillars of Lewis Hamilton and his bid towards Formula 1 glory. That being said, 2022 has arguably been the biggest test of character for the 7x World Champion. But does he have what it takes to turn it all around and come back fighting in 2023?

Lewis Hamilton finished 2022 6th in the standings. After dominating F1 for 7 straight years, finally, the mighty Hamilton fell. To add insult to injury, his entire season went winless, while his teammate George Russell secured his maiden F1 win at the Brazilian GP. But what does this spell for the Brit’s dwindling F1 career?

The driver that usually oozes inspiration is now down in the dumps. And what he needs right now more than ever is a sneak peek into the past. In 2015, while doing a promotional event for IWC Watches, Sky Sports’ David Croft quizzed Hamilton. And when Hamilton was asked, “What’s the most inspirational thing somebody has ever said to you is?” he was quick on his feet to answer.

Red Bull chief confident about Lewis Hamilton’s revival

Arguably, there aren’t many Lewis Hamilton fans in the Red Bull camp. That being said, one man within the Red Bull hierarchy is counting on Lewis Hamilton getting back to his usual winning ways and probably upset the Red Bull dominance train.

While speaking to SportBild, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko was asked who he thought would be a thorn in the side of the team in 2023. He said, “Mercedes will be stronger in the overall package. Especially with a driver like Lewis Hamilton. He’s still a top driver.”
