Hamilton has publicly shared his admiration for the Williams sisters. He once stated that Serena Williams inspired him to become the sportsman that he is today. The Williams sisters gave him the ultimate hope that he, too, can achieve things despite being a minority.

Lewis Hamilton, also being the fun persona that he is, made a little joke insisting on taking down the legendary Serena Williams.

Back in the day, playing a tennis game with the US fencing star Miles Chamley Watson, Hamilton posted a picture from the game day with the caption that read, “Match point, We coming for you, Serena.”

To this, Watson commented saying, “Who wants the smoke? We 450-0.”

This turned into a fun banter between the Canadian tennis star, Genie Bouchard, and Watson. As Genie then took to the comment section in response, and said, “that’s not an actual score”

Watson was quick to respond, saying, “That’s our record, Genie. We just that nice.”
