Much like F1 greats Michael Schumacher or Lewis Hamilton, Marc Marquez is a phenomenon in Moto GP. While the F1 drivers have seven titles to their names each, this MotoGP rider has six in the premier class of 500cc. Despite having one short of the duo and one short of all-time MotoGP great Valentino Rossi, Marquez nonetheless enjoys being on top of his game. As the supreme rider has reached his 30s now, he was lately recognized by another true champion, Max Verstappen!
The 6x world champion recently had his birthday on February 17. As he turned 30 this day, defending F1 champion had great wishes for him for the day and for upcoming times. In a video released by Repsol Honda Team on their official Twitter handle, Verstappen shared, “Hi Marc, it’s Max here. Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday. Happy 30th birthday.”
The big 3️⃣0️⃣ deserves a BIG happy birthday from all of HRC and from one great champion to another.

“Because now you’ve been in the sport for a very long time already. You’ve had incredible success in your life. Luckily enough I’ve been able to watch a lot of it and I really appreciate it and admire a lot of what you do. I really hope that this year is going to be a good year. All the best,” the Dutchman concluded with the wish who lately has turned incredibly down to Earth.
This wish by Verstappen can be considered as thanksgiving to the MotoGP rider for his congratulatory message from 2021. The 30-year-old uploaded a congratulatory message for the Red Bull driver after the 2021 Abu Dhabi GP win.
