Another difficult component of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was seeing the five red lights from P19. Nevertheless, Schumacher Jr was aiming to overcome the hurdles that awaited him on Sunday’s highly anticipated race in order to assist himself and his American-owned team earn their first F1 points for the 2021 season.

However, he failed to do so as the drama-filled race saw him finish in fourteenth place; resulting in him going empty-handed once again this year. But, the one aspect of his final race in his rookie year was his collision with Williams’ driver Latifi.

Both were fighting hard, but a slight touch between the two caused the Canadian driver to crash, which resulted in a safety car being sent out – a decision that would change the odds on who took home the 2021 championship.
